An eclectic mix of rock, singer/songwriter and dance
music composed and played with soul, friendship and joy.

On The Record was first drawn together by the thrill of singing beautiful
harmonies and a love of quirky lyrical phrases. They started playing together a couple of years ago and found a loyal
following who wanted more. Now writing and arranging their own music, Backstory was released on March 6th,
2010. The Trio is adding bass and drums on a regular basis and continuing to develop a dance set for those who like to
get up on the dance floor. On The Record can be heard at locations
around the Kansas City Area including The Record Bar, Barley's, 75th Street Brewery, Mike Kelly's Westsider, the R Bar, the
Plaza Art Fair, Park Place and the Beaumont Club.

Backstory:
Every story has a backstory and included on this CD of original songs are several of On The Record's. Written by
Joy Zimmerman, Alex Holsinger and Eli Chamberlain, arranged by On The Record and recorded by Wilkinson Records, these are
stories of life, love, longing, joy and laughter. (Release date March 6, 2010)
